Earth Planet habitable and good for passing on to the next generation

Each time when you throw a sheet of paper, just remember that it takes one 15 year old tree to produce half a box of it.
It easier saving paper Than planting trees

Cutting down on the amount of paper we use in the office is a great way to start making a positive impact on the environment.
THE GREEN TIP…..REDUCE:
i.                     Encourage double-sided printing and photocopying.
ii.                   Proof documents on screen before printing out.
iii.                  Print only what you need.
iv.                 Set print range so you don’t print with no text or with no important text.
v.                   Recycle blank pages that come out of the printer accidentally.
vi.                 Don’t over order print brochures and reports.
vii.                Reduce packaging waste- buy frequently used items in bulk.
viii.              Check you are not wasting paper unnecessary papers comes in different weights.
A lower weight (eg 80 gsm or 100 gsm) is good for internal functions.
ix.                 Cut down on the use of “Post it” notes by using scrap paper and paper clips.
x.                   Use emails wherever you can and only print out when absolutely necessary.
REUSE:
i.                     Use scrap paper for notes not new sheets of paper or letter heads.
ii.                   Keep a box closeby to the photocopiers for keeping paper for reuse.
iii.                  Reuse envelopes whenever possible in inter office communication.
iv.                 Reuse paper folder, filling cards and other office items as much as possible.
RECYCLE:
i.                     Paper often makes a large proportion of office waste. Instead of sending used paper to landfill why not reuse/ recycle.
ii.                   Every ton of recycled paper saves 17 trees.
iii.                  Paper manufacturing is the third largest user of fossil fuel worldwide.
iv.                 Paper manufacturing is the largest industrial user of water per pound of the finished products

Always  remember…

Every action of yours counts, in making the Earth Planet habitable and good for passing on to the next generation.
So, let’s Earthians take the lead and show the world- we can do it!!!!
