Properly maintained tire pressure is an important part of driving safely, as well as traveling in a “green” fashion.
Under inflated tires sag under the vehicle’s weight, so there is more resistance from the road, and more energy needed to move the vehicle. This burns fuel unnecessarily and is a waste of both natural resources and money.
